Ivanka Trump, daughter of U.S. President Donald Trump, has returned to Costa Rica for a fifth family vacation in the country over the past four years.

Ivanka, the second child of President Trump and his first wife, Ivana Trump, spent several days in Costa Rica after entering the country Thursday, Aug. 20. She left Monday, according to the General Directorate of Migration.

She was reportedly seen with several family members in Guanacaste Province.

She has not revealed details about the trip. During her stay, however, fans shared photos on social media showing her surfing and visiting beaches in Guanacaste.

According to TMZ, an American entertainment-focused tabloid news outlet, in its report: "Ivanka Trump Shows Off Surf Skills During Costa Rica Getaway,"  she was seen surfing Sunday in Costa Rica.

"The former White House adviser was photographed wearing a white long-sleeve top and black bottoms while riding waves on a soft-top longboard," TMZ reported.

This marks Trump's fifth visit to Costa Rica in the past four years. She vacationed in the country in 2025, and she was spotted with several family members at Santa Teresa and Hermosa beaches in Guanacaste.

She also visited Costa Rica in 2023 and made two separate trips in 2022.

Born and raised in Manhattan, Trump graduated cum laude in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in economics. She married real estate developer Jared Kushner in 2009. The couple has three children.

Ivanka Trump is the second member of the Trump family to vacation in Costa Rica this year. In July, Kai Trump, President Trump's eldest granddaughter, celebrated the end of high school with a trip to Costa Rica before beginning classes this fall at the University of Miami in Florida, U.S.A.

Costa Rica continues to attract high-profile visitors from around the world, including celebrities and prominent U.S. political figures.

Earlier in July, Australian actor and producer Chris Hemsworth, best known for portraying Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, vacationed in Costa Rica with his family.

Most recently, U.S. Reps. Thomas Massie of Kentucky and Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia vacationed in Guanacaste.

Earlier in April, billionaire Jeff Bezos and his wife, Lauren Sánchez, visited Cocos Island.

Tourism remains one of Costa Rica's most important economic sectors. More than 1.6 million travelers arrived by air during the first half of 2026, underscoring the industry's continued role as a major contributor to the country's economy.

In 2025, Costa Rica welcomed more than 2.6 million air travelers.

The tourism sector has also reached a significant economic milestone. Costa Rica generated more than $2 billion in tourism revenue during the first quarter of 2026, marking the first time the country has exceeded that benchmark.
