The
two biggest lottery games in the U.S., Mega
Millions® and
Powerball®,
are bringing serious heat this weekend,
with a combined $268 million on the table.
Yeah, you read that right. One ticket
could flip your entire life.
Let’s
start with Friday night. Mega
Millions® is
coming in strong with a jackpot that’s
blown past $150 million. If
you’re thinking cash, that’s about $67 million in
your pocket. Not exactly pocket change.
If
you’re in the U.S., you can grab your
tickets straight from the official Mega
Millions®
site.
The
last drawing on Tuesday, April 21, didn’t
produce a jackpot winner, which is why the
prize keeps stacking. The numbers drawn
were 1, 36, 43, 56 and 58,
with the Gold Mega Ball landing on 14. And
don’t sleep on the Megaplier, that add-on
can boost non-jackpot wins by up to 10
times.
The drawing goes down at 11 p.m. ET at the WSB-TV studio in Atlanta, Georgia, and the video gets posted shortly after on the official Mega Millions® website.
Just like Mega
Millions, international players can
get in on Powerball through The Lotter
website.
While
U.S. residents can buy tickets directly
from the official Powerball®
site.
The
last Powerball®
drawing on Wednesday, April 22, also
rolled over after no one hit all six
numbers. The numbers were 24, 29, 32, 49 and 63,
with the Red Powerball at 11. The Power
Play multiplier came in at 2X.
Powerball® drawings are broadcast live at 11 p.m. ET from the Florida Lottery studio in Tallahassee, and you can also catch the livestream on the official Powerball® website.
The question is, are you in?
