French
player Mathys Domenc won the men’s singles
title,
while
American Janae Preston captured the women’s
singles crown at the 61st Copa del Café, a
prestigious international junior tennis
tournament held in Costa Rica.
The tournament concluded last week at the Costa Rica Country Club in Escazú, San José Province. More than 64 players competed in the under-18 category.
In
men’s singles, Domenc won the
championship with a score of 12 points
in two sets.

The women’s doubles
championship went to Welles Newman and
Jordyn Hazelitt of the United States, who
won with a final score of two points in two
sets.
