Costa Rican cyclist Luis Daniel Oses won the Vuelta Ciclista a Costa Rica on Sunday, claiming the top title in the country’s premier cycling event. The race was held from Dec. 12 to 21 and covered multiple regions across Costa Rica. According to the Costa Rican Cycling Federation (FECOCI), this year marked the 59th edition of the Vuelta, the largest cycling competition in Central America. Fifteen teams competed over 19 days, riding more than 66 miles. The race began in Heredia Province, traveled throughout the country and concluded in Alajuela Province.
