More international celebrities have chosen Costa Rica as a tourist destination for the summer.

One among them is Kevin Hart (44), a U.S. actor and comedian who came to the country on Monday, June 17, according to public information from the General Directorate of Migration.

This is his second visit to Pura Vida nation in a year. In June 2023, the well-known American actor who appeared in films like as "Me Time" and "The Man from Toronto" paid a visit to Santa Teresa in Cobano, Puntarenas.

As of Wednesday, the comedian had yet to share photos from his Costa Rica trip on social media.

Hart is now on a comedy tour in multiple cities around the US. According to his website, kevinhartnation.com, he will continue his tour with a show in Bethlehem City, Pennsylvania, on June 28.

Hart is one of the best-known comedians in the United States. After winning multiple stand-up comedy competitions, he had his first break when Judd Apatow placed him in a recurring role on the television series Undeclared in 2001. He has now appeared in over 50 films.

In 2017, Hart founded Laugh Out Loud firm, a global media and production firm that provides chances for top comedy talent of all races throughout the world.

In 2012, he won Best Actor at the BET Awards for his documentary film "Laugh at My Pain."

Kevin Hart is one of several celebrities who have enjoyed a vacation in the country. Recently, Alicia Silverstone, a U.S. actress and social media influencer, also spent time with her family in Costa Rica.

Tourism is one of the most important economic sectors in Costa Rica. Over 884,000 tourists arrived in the country via air between January and March 2024, representing a 16.8% rise over the same period in 2023, noted the tourism authorities.

The country reported a new tourism record reached in 2023, with more than 2,4 million travelers.
