Two American Football League stars visit Costa Rica

This week, two American Football League players, Jordan Lynn-Baxter Poyer (32) and Aaron Charles Rodgers (40) are enjoying some time off in Costa Rica.

NFL fans cherished a series of photos released by the Miami Dolphins safety Jordan Poyer, on social his media, such as Instagram, showing him with Rodgers, and some friends enjoying the 'pura vida' lifestyle in Esterillos Beach, Puntarenas Province.

"When we look within & heal our own wounds, we contribute to the healing of the planet by shifting the collective consciousness towards greater love, empathy, & sustainability," posted Poyer, when shared the stunning beach photos.  

According to official records from the General Directorate of Immigration's tourist registration department, both athletes landed in the nation on Saturday. 

In the particular case of Rodgers, the quarterback for the New York Jets, his trip to Costa Rica coincides with reports that he may be the vice president chosen by Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the presidential candidate in the United States.

Kennedy, who launched his candidacy as an independent in October 2023, recently said he would reveal his vice presidential nominee in the following weeks. He has addressed numerous other prospective possibilities, including Rodgers.

According to the New York Times, Aaron Rodgers was under consideration to be the vice president candidate for RFK Jr.'s campaign.

Poyer and Rodgers are just two of the numerous celebrities who chose Costa Rica for their holiday.  Recently, Katheryn Winnick, a social media sensation and Canadian actress renowned for her roles in the television series Vikings, visited Costa Rica.

Tourism is one of the most important economic sectors in Costa Rica. As of January, more than 270,000 tourists arrived in the country by air, authorities stated.

In 2023, the country reached a new tourism record with more than 2,4 million travelers visiting the country by air.
