Gal Gadot, 39, the Israeli actress best known for her iconic role as Wonder Woman in the DC Extended Universe, spent the holidays vacationing in Costa Rica.

The actress, named one of Time Magazine's 100 most influential people in the world in 2018, stayed in Costa Rica from Dec. 19 to 31, according to official records from the General Directorate of Migration.

Fans of the superhero film star shared photos on social media showing her visiting various tourist attractions along Costa Rica's Pacific Coast.

However, Gadot has not yet shared any photos from her trip to Costa Rica.

Gal Gadot was born in Petah Tikva, Israel, on April 30, 1985. Her breakout role came in 2009 as Gisele Yashar in the "Fast & Furious" franchise, a character she reprises in five subsequent films.

She recently revealed that her youngest daughter was born via emergency surgery after a "massive" blood clot was discovered in the actress's brain during pregnancy.

She shared that she received the "terrifying" diagnosis in her eighth month of pregnancy, in February, after enduring weeks of "excruciating" headaches. "We rushed to the hospital, and within hours, I underwent emergency surgery,"
she wrote on Instagram. "My daughter, Ori, was born during that moment of uncertainty and fear."

A couple of weeks earlier, another top celebrity, the Brazilian fashion model and actress Gisele Bündchen (44) was spending some vacation days with her boyfriend Joaquim Valente in Guanacaste Province.

Bündchen owns a property in Santa Teresa Beach and is a frequent visitor to the popular Pacific Coast destination with her family. Her most recent visit was recorded from Nov. 23 to Dec. 1, according to Migration.

"The pregnant supermodel was seen strolling hand-in-hand along the beach with her jiu-jitsu partner," reads a report by U.S. celebrity magazine TMZ about her trip to Costa Rica.

In 2009, Bündchen married NFL quarterback Tom Brady in California, U.S.A.. That year they celebrated a second ceremony in Costa Rica. In October 2022, the couple finalized their divorce after 13 years of marriage.

Gal Gadot and Gisele Bündchen are among the many celebrities who have chosen Costa Rica as their vacation destination. In December 2024, Morgan Freeman, the legendary American actor and producer, spent a few days in the Pura Vida country.

Also in December, the Canadian singer Justin Bieber, his wife the American top model Hailey, and the American influencer Kendall Jenner shared on their social media photos of their holidays in Costa Rica.

The country reported a new tourism record reached in 2023, with more than 2,4 million travelers.
