Justin Bieber and Kendall Jenner visit Costa Rica

On Monday Canadian singer Justin Bieber, his wife the American top model Hailey, and the American influencer Kendall Jenner shared on their social media photos of their weekend holidays in Costa Rica.

The celebrities came to the country on Saturday, according to public information from the General Directorate of Migration.

They came to the Pura Vida country to attend a friend's wedding, which took place this weekend in the Avellanas Beach in Guanacaste Province.

In some of the photos shared on Bieber's Instagram, they reveal scenes of the beautiful beach and wedding party.

Bieber is a singer, songwriter, and pop sensation who gained worldwide fame in the late 2000s and early 2010s. Born on March 1, 1994, in London, Ontario, Canada, he was discovered at the age of 13 on YouTube by talent manager Scooter Braun. His debut single, "One Time", was released in 2009, and it became a global hit, marking the start of his career.

Aside from his music, Bieber has also used his social media platforms to speak about personal struggles and growth, such as dealing with mental health and his faith.

Bieber had previously visited Costa Rica in 2017 when he performed at the National Stadium in San José as part of his Purpose World Tour.

Along with the Biebers, model and businesswoman Kendall Jenner also arrived in the country on Saturday.

The influencer is also enjoying a vacation in Guanacaste pleasing her countless fans by sharing beautiful pictures from her getaway on her Instagram.

Jenner last visited Costa Rica in early 2017, when she nearly a week vacationing on the Papagayo Gulf in Guanacaste Province.

Jenner is a top model, media personality, and socialite. She is part of the famous Kardashian-Jenner family, which gained widespread fame through the reality TV show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."

In addition to her modeling career, Kendall has a strong presence on social media, where she shares aspects of her personal life and professional work. She has also ventured into business, launching her tequila brand, "818 Tequila" in 2021.

The Biebers and Jenner are some of many celebrities who have chosen Costa Rica to spend their vacations. Recently, ‘Lord of the Rings’ stars Scottish actor William "Billy" Nathan Boyd, and British-Irish actor Dominic "Dom" Monaghan, were visiting the country.

Tourism is one of the most important economic sectors in Costa Rica. As of July, over 1.7 million tourists arrived via air, representing a 13.5% increase over the same period in 2023.

The country reported a new tourism record reached in 2023, with more than 2,4 million travelers.
