One of
the year’s most anticipated music events in
Costa Rica has been confirmed: legendary
American hard rock band Guns N’ Roses is set
to return to the "pura vida" nation
with a live performance at the
National Stadium in
San José.
The
band will perform on Wednesday, October 1,
2025, as part of their tour titled "The
Because What You Want & What You Get Are
Two Completely Different Things."
The
concert will feature the full lineup: Axl
Rose (vocals, piano), Slash (lead guitar),
Duff McKagan (bass), Dizzy Reed (keyboards),
Richard Fortus (rhythm guitar), Frank Ferrer
(drums), and Melissa Reese (keyboards).
Fans
can expect a high-energy setlist that
includes iconic hits like “Welcome to the
Jungle” (1987), “Sweet Child o’ Mine”
(1987), “Paradise City” (1987), “Patience”
(1988), and “November Rain” (1991), among
many others.
Mercury
Concerts, the company managing the world
tour, announced that ticket presale
information will soon be available via the
Nightrain section of the band’s official
website. In
Costa Rica, tickets will also be sold
through the
Kuikpei platform.
This marks Guns N’ Roses’ second performance in Costa Rica. Their first concert took place at the same venue on November 26, 2016, drawing over 30,000 fans.
The
Costa Rica date is part of the second leg of
the band's 2025 world tour, with additional
stops planned across Latin America. The new
run follows the success of their extensive
2025 European, Asian, and Middle Eastern
tour, which is currently ongoing through the
end of the North American summer.
