One of the most notable images showed him ziplining through a dense forest canopy, capturing a memorable moment from the vacation. Alongside the photo, Fallon added a lighthearted caption reflecting on the experience and thanking his followers for their support. “Zipping into the new year! Not only did the hat give me unyielding confidence, but the harness cradling my man boob reminded me of the support that I’ve felt from all of you this past year,” Fallon wrote. “Here’s to more fun in 2026.” Fallon began his television career in the 1990s on Saturday Night Live. In the 2000s, he went on to host Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. In 2014, he debuted as host of The Tonight Show on NBC. He has also appeared in more than 20 films. Migration authorities confirmed that Fallon and his family departed Costa Rica on Dec. 23.
Fallon
is among several international celebrities
who have recently brought global attention
to Costa Rica as a vacation destination. Australian actor,
singer and producer Hugh Jackman, best
known for portraying Wolverine in the
X-Men film franchise, has also
vacationed in the country.
Tourism
remains one of Costa Rica’s strongest
industries. As of September 2025,
more than 2.2 million travelers
arrived in Costa Rica by air overall.
The sector also
generated more than $5.4 billion in
foreign exchange earnings in 2024.
