Legendary American hard rock band Guns N’ Roses will return to Costa Rica, kicking off their Latin American tour with a live performance at San José’s National Stadium on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.

Costa Rica has been selected as the opening venue for the band’s highly anticipated tour, titled “The Because What You Want & What You Get Are Two Completely Different Things.”

The full lineup is expected to perform at 7 p.m., including Axl Rose (vocals, piano), Slash (lead guitar), Duff McKagan (bass), Dizzy Reed (keyboards), Richard Fortus (rhythm guitar), Frank Ferrer (drums), and Melissa Reese (keyboards).

According to event organizers Stockwell Entertainment, tickets will go on sale Monday, June 23, through the Kuikpei website. Prices will range from $75 to $370, depending on seating and location.

A pre-sale will be offered to select credit card users starting June 23. From June 24 to 25, tickets will be available exclusively to Davivienda bank credit card holders. The remaining tickets will be released to the general public beginning June 26.

This marks Guns N’ Roses’ second performance in Costa Rica. Their first concert took place at the same venue on November 26, 2016, drawing over 30,000 fans.

Fans can expect a high-energy setlist that includes iconic hits like “Welcome to the Jungle” (1987), “Sweet Child o’ Mine” (1987), “Paradise City” (1987), “Patience” (1988), and “November Rain” (1991), among many others.

The Costa Rica date is part of the second leg of the band's 2025 world tour, with additional stops planned across Latin America. The new run follows the success of their extensive 2025 European, Asian, and Middle Eastern tour, which is currently ongoing through the end of the North American summer.

Guns N’ Roses continues to hold its place as one of the most iconic and influential American rock bands of all time. Their groundbreaking 1987 debut album, Appetite for Destruction, remains the best-selling debut album in U.S. history and ranks as the 11th best-selling album of all time in the country. Their "Not In This Lifetime Tour" (2016–2019) stands as the fourth highest-grossing concert tour ever.

In 1991, the band stunned the world with the back-to-back releases of Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II, both certified 7x Platinum and debuting at No. 1 and No. 2 on the Billboard 200, respectively.

The group has sold over 100 million records worldwide, with additional major releases including G N' R Lies (5x Platinum), The Spaghetti Incident? (Platinum), Greatest Hits (5x Platinum), and Chinese Democracy (Platinum).

Even decades after their debut, Guns N’ Roses remains a global force in rock music. With over 24 million monthly listeners on Spotify, they are one of the most streamed rock bands in the world. Following their long-awaited reunion, the band headlined Coachella and sold more than 5 million tickets for the "Not In This Lifetime Tour."

The Nightrain keeps rolling and Guns N' Roses shows no signs of slowing down.
