women entrepreneurs By A.M. Costa Rica staff The Women and Business 2020 Program will allow 225 businesswomen and entrepreneurs to obtain free advice, training, and assistance to strengthen their companies. The women will start the training in September that includes induction workshops, application of diagnoses, training on gender issues, marketing, financial plan, accounting, business formalization, among others. The women who participate in the program will receive 12 hours per week training to develop their capacities and to grow their enterprises or businesses. This program is developed by the Ministry of the Economy with other public institutions with the goal of promoting the economic autonomy of women. According to the ministry, at the end of the program, participants will have access to business networks, as well as promotion and electronic commerce strategies to improve their companies.
