The California, USA-headquartered Intel is growing its operations in Costa Rica, announced David Zinsner, Intel Financial Director.
Intel is one of the biggest semiconductor chip manufacturers corporations worldwide which started operations in Costa Rica 27 years ago. Currently, it has the largest finance team of the corporation that operates in Belen Canton, Heredia Province.
The
finance department belongs to the Global
Services Center which is complemented by
Human Resources, Sales, and Marketing. This
unit manages 100% of its global corporate
functions in Latin America, the United
States and Europe.
The firm has more than 3,300 employees and it is actively hiring as a result of the operations expansion plan.
The profile of the candidates includes experience in financial, accounting, and data analysis areas, among others. People interested in participating in the recruitment processes should visit the Intel jobs website.
Intel is one of many U.S. firms hiring in Costa Rica. This week, the California-headquartered firm, Cohesity, announced the opening of its operations in Heredia Province.
Costa Rica's unemployment remains at 7.3%, according to the National Employment Survey. Data recorded from Oct. to Dec. 2023 shows more than 164,000 people without registered jobs. Of these, 95,000 are men, making up 58% of the unemployed people in the country.
