The California, USA-headquartered firm, ServiceNow, an
AI platform for business, has announced the expansion of its operations in the America Free Zone, in Heredia.

According to the firm, this expansion comes after the company opened its first offices in March 2023 as a hub for its Latin America operations.

“This expansion represents our firm commitment to global excellence,” affirmed Laura Campos, Director of People Enablement & Site Leader of ServiceNow Costa Rica. “By taking advantage of Costa Rica’s exceptional talent, we are building our capacities and position in the vanguard of technological innovation. This initiative will enable us to deliver speedier, more efficient solutions, providing global organizations with digital workflow management that optimizes productivity and improves user experience.”

The company is actively hiring to support global demand for its services. Job openings are for systems engineers, revenue accountants, technical product managers, partner success managers, senior database engineers, technical program managers, technical consultants, sales operations analysts, senior software engineers, digital designers, and other positions. Those interested in applying for a job vacancy should visit the firm website.

Even though new international companies are creating jobs in Costa Rica, the unemployment rate is 7.8%, according to the National Employment Survey. Data recorded from May to July shows more than 186,000 people without registered jobs. Of these, 106,000 are men, making up 57% of the unemployed people in the country.

ServiceNow is one of many U.S. companies investing in Costa Rica. Recently, Helm360, a division of CCS Global Tech company headquartered in San Diego, California, USA, announced the expansion of its operations in its facilities located in Pérez Zeledón Canton in San José.
