Helm360, a division of CCS Global Tech company headquartered in San Diego, California, USA, announced the expansion of its operations in its facilities located in  Pérez Zeledón Canton in San José.

According to the firm, the investment plan includes the inauguration of its new building which was budgeted at $6.5 million, "which doubled the original figure the company planned to invest in Costa Rica a few years ago," it said in its statement.

"This investment reflects our commitment to the region and our confidence in the potential of local talent," said Raminder Singh, founder and CEO of Helm360. " It also highlights our desire to contribute to the economic development of Pérez Zeledón and Costa Rica, while positioning Helm360 as a key player in the global technology landscape.”

Since the opening of operations in Costa Rica, five years ago, Helm360 has provided technological support and consulting services to clients in the U.S., Canada and Europe.

Currently, the company is actively promoting the hiring of people without experience. Newly recruited talent has a training plan that lasts two to six months and also participates in training with international experts. Among other benefits, the company provides private insurance, a wellness program and a bonus program.

Some of the available positions include database technology specialists, project coordinators, project managers and administrative staff for its global operation, among others. Applicants must be bilingual, Spanish and English, level B2-. Those interested in applying for a job vacancy should request more information by emailing pzjobs@helm360.com.

Even though new international companies are creating jobs in Costa Rica, the unemployment rate is 7.8%, according to the National Employment Survey. Data recorded from May to July 2024 shows more than 186,000 people without registered jobs. Of these, 106,000 are men, making up 57% of the unemployed people in the country.

Helm360 is one of many U.S. companies investing in Costa Rica. Recently, the Arizona, U.S.-headquartered chain of pet superstores, PetSmart, inaugurated its new technology center in Heredia Province.
