The United States government, via its consulate, donated $25,000 in new desks and kitchen appliances to the Francisco Alfaro-Rojas public school located in La Arena District, Grecia Canton in Alajuela Province.
The Embassy's Office of Defense Representative Humanitarian Assistance Program provided 130 desks and chairs.
They also donated a paper shredder and kitchen appliances, including a grease extractor, integrated kitchen equipment with a griddle, an electric self-service station, a food shelf, a two-door vertical refrigeration chamber, a one-door freezer and five folding tables.

Costa Rican children in better preparing
for their professional future," said
Juan Carlos Ávila, Commander of the
Office of the Defense Representative.
