Naviera
Tambor announced that a new ferry service
with the Tambor IV vessel has begun
operations in Puntarenas Province.
According
to the coastal shipping firm, the new ship
will ferry vehicles and passengers across
the Nicoya Gulf, between Puntarenas and Paquera
beaches.
The
new vessel, which can ferry 220 vehicles and
1,500 passengers, is expected to reduce
delays on this route, said the firm in its
statement.
