Puerto Rican
rapper, singer, and record producer Bad Bunny will bring his
music to Costa Rica this December as
part of his "Debí
Tirar Más Fotos" (I Should Have
Taken More Photos) world tour. The
concerts will take place at the National Stadium in San José.
Fans of the
three-time Grammy winner can expect to
hear some of his biggest
Spanish-language hits from the latest
album, including “Baile
Inolvidable,”
“Nueva
Yol,”
“Voy
a Llevarte Pa’
PR,”
“Turista,” and the emotional
title track “DTMF.”
“Thanks to music and
the love you give me through my music, I’ve had the privilege
of traveling to sing in different places
around the world. I appreciate and love
to do it,” Bad Bunny said in
a video posted in January announcing his
residency concerts in Puerto Rico.
“There are places I’ll definitely return to, and some I’ve never been to but would like to visit, like Brazil and Japan. And there are places I haven’t been in a long time, like Italy, London, and Spain,” he added.
Dubbed the “King of Latin
Trap,” Bad Bunny has been
credited with helping Spanish-language
rap achieve mainstream popularity in
global markets. He is regarded as one of the
most influential Latin artists of his
generation.
However, the
artist has also drawn controversy.
Earlier this month, after the NFL
confirmed that Bad Bunny will headline
the halftime show at the 2026 Super Bowl
in Santa Clara, California, U.S.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement
(ICE) announced it will be present at
the event to locate and arrest
individuals in the country illegally, according to a report
by The Hill Journal.
Bad Bunny joins a
growing list of international performers
bringing major shows to Costa Rica. Recently, legendary
hard rock band Guns N’ Roses performed at
the National Stadium.
