Well, we have a
new gate. Now the question is, what do
we do with the old gate?
I have
spoken before about what an excellent
caretaker and gardener have. Armando, our
gardener, has been with us for many years
and has learned concrete work and metalwork.
We had a brief conversation about how to
change the old gate for its new purpose and
he was full of ideas.
I only have one gardener,
but he has been engaged in multiple tasks that
have nothing to do directly with gardening.
This is just another example of that.
Still,
it’s a fine thing to have someone around who
can do this kind of work. Armando has been
working over the last few days and I expect
that I will soon have two beautiful old
pieces of gate fully cemented and ready for
hanging baskets and native orchids or a
cascade bougainvillea.
