Alright, if you’ve been watching those lottery jackpots climb higher and higher, this weekend is definitely worth paying attention to.

The two biggest lottery games in the U.S., Mega Millions® and Powerball®, are bringing some serious money to the table, with a combined $542 million up for grabs. A couple of lucky tickets could completely change someone’s life.

First up is Friday night, when Mega Millions® takes center stage with a jackpot that has climbed past $244 million. If you’d rather take the cash option, that comes to about $103 million. That’s definitely not pocket change.

And if you’re outside the U.S., you’re not necessarily out of the game. Players from any country or nationality can play Mega Millions and other international lotteries through The Lotter website.

The most recent Mega Millions drawing, held Tuesday, Sept. 15, didn’t produce a jackpot winner, so the prize continues to grow. The winning numbers were 27, 36, 43, 57 and 58, with the Gold Mega Ball landing on 16. And don’t forget about the Megaplier. That optional add-on can increase non-jackpot prizes by up to 10 times.

The drawings themselves happen live at 11 p.m. ET from the WSB-TV studio in Atlanta. Shortly after the draw, the video gets posted on the official Mega Millions® website so players everywhere can watch the moment those numbers drop.

The latest Powerball® drawing, held Wednesday, Sept. 16, also ended without a jackpot winner after nobody matched all six numbers. The numbers drawn were 2, 21, 24, 25 and 64, with the Red Powerball coming in at 7. The Power Play multiplier for the drawing was 2X.

So, the bottom line? This weekend is loaded with lottery action. Two huge jackpot opportunities, hundreds of millions of dollars on the line, and the possibility that one lucky ticket could take home the whole jackpot.
