Costa
Rica experienced mixed fuel price
adjustments due to international fuel cost
changes between June and July, the Public
Services Regulatory Authority (Aresep)
reported.
Aresep
said the new rates reflect updated across
several pricing components that were
calculated during fuel import negotiations
held between June 12 and July 9.
Diesel recorded the largest decrease among the fuels.

new prices take effect on Monday, August
3, after being published in the official
government bulletin, La Gaceta.
Aresep
is the government agency responsible for
regulating public service rates in Costa
Rica.
