American actress and model Megan Fox is vacationing in the "Pura Vida" country with her fiancé, musician Machine Gun Kelly, and their newborn daughter.

The couple arrived at Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR) in Guanacaste on Saturday, July 19, according to Costa Rica’s General Directorate of Migration.

Fans spotted the couple and shared photos on social media, showing Fox cradling her baby while Machine Gun Kelly handled the luggage.

However, Fox has not revealed any details about her trip to Costa Rica. 

This marks the couple’s second visit to Costa Rica. Their first trip, in July 2021, was for an ayahuasca spiritual retreat in an indigenous territory deep in the jungle.

Fox later described the experience during an interview with guest host Arsenio Hall on Jimmy Kimmel Live, saying it was far from glamorous and felt like “going to hell for eternity,” but ultimately it was a deeply transformative experience.

Fox is best known for her breakout role as Mikaela Banes in the blockbuster films Transformers (2007) and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009). Since 2001, she has appeared in more than 20 films and 15 television series, earning accolades including four Teen Choice Awards and two Scream Awards.

She has four children, three sons with her ex-husband, actor Brian Austin Green, and a daughter with her fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly.

Fox joins a growing list of international celebrities choosing Costa Rica as a vacation destination. Recently, Lord of the Rings actors Billy Boyd and Dominic Monaghan filmed an episode of their travel and food series, Billy and Dom Eat the World, in the country.

Tourism remains a cornerstone of the national economy.  More than 1.4 million visitors arrived in Costa Rica by air during the first half of the year, according to the Tourism Institute statistics.

In 2024, Costa Rica recorded more than 2.6 million international air arrivals, a 7% increase over the previous year.

The sector also generated over $5.4 billion in foreign exchange earnings in 2024, according to the Central Bank of Costa Rica.
