A.M. Costa Rica staff On Wednesday, Nora Todd, the U.S. Senior Director for International Economics at the National Security Council, arrived in Costa Rica to meet President Rodrigo Chaves-Robles. According to the U.S. Embassy, Todd will participate in an Americas Partnership planning meeting focused on the 2025 Americas Partnership Leaders’ Summit hosted by Costa Rica. The U.S. delegation includes Lisa Kubiske Senior Coordinator for the Americas Partnership for Economic Prosperity at the Department of State Ambassador, Kevin Sullivan Deputy Assistant Secretary for Western Hemisphere Affairs Kevin Sullivan and Daniel Watson Assistant U.S. Trade Representative for the Western Hemisphere. The U.S. delegation will meet with members of the Costa Rican government and private companies to discuss the 2025 Summit. The 2025 Summit follows through on commitments made by Americas Partnership leaders at the inaugural Americas Partnership Leaders’ Summit in November 2023.

5G, and artificial intelligence," said the
embassy in its statement.
The
Americas Partnership for Economic
Prosperity's
founding countries are Barbados, Canada,
Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican
Republic, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Peru,
Uruguay and the U.S.
Todd
is one of many top key U.S. executives
visiting Costa Rica recently. In
June, Christopher J. Dodd, the U.S.
Special Presidential Advisor (SPA), met
with President Chaves.
