Yokasta Valle (31), the professional boxer born in Nicaragua and nationalized in Costa Rica, won a fight to keep her two champion titles.

The athlete managed to hold two female junior flyweight titles, one from the International Boxing Federation (IBF) and one from the World Boxing Organization (WBO), both in the 105-pound weight class.

On Saturday, the tournament versus opponent Mara Santizo of Guatemala was held at the Commerce Casino & Hotel in southeast Los Angeles County, California, United States.

During the 10-round fight, the judges awarded three scores to Valle, all of which were in her favor: 99-91, 100-90, and 99-91.

Valle has currently fought 30 consecutive fights, winning 28 (nine by knockout) and losing two. Santizo has an 11-fight record, with 6 victories coming by knockout.

Valle is a two-time world champion, having held the IBF female mini flyweight championship since 2019 and the IBF female junior mini flyweight title in 2016.

She was also challenged for the World Boxing Organization (WBO) female junior flyweight title in 2017 and the World Boxing Council (WBC) female micro flyweight title in 2018. BoxRec ranks her as the world's fourth-best active female tiny flyweight as of May 2020.
