Yard
House, an American restaurant chain
known for having the world’s largest
selection of draft beer, has expanded
internationally with its first
location outside the United States. The
restaurant opened at Avenida Escazú
Shopping Center
in San José, marking a milestone for
the brand. According
to AR Holdings, the company operating
Yard House in Costa Rica, the new
restaurant spans approximately 900
square meters and is the first of its
kind to launch outside the U.S.
Founded in 1996 in Long
Beach, California, Yard House has grown to
more than 90 locations across the United
States.
The
menu also includes vegetarian, vegan and
gluten-sensitive options. Yard
House joins a growing list of U.S.
restaurant chains investing in Costa
Rica. Recently, Applebee’s and
IHOP opened locations in San José,
marking IHOP’s debut in the
country and Applebee’s return
after a five-year absence. What
other American restaurant franchises
would you like to see in Costa
Rica? We would
like to know
your thoughts
on this story.
