On Friday
The
Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra
brings the feels with its concert
"Things of Love" at the Eugene O’Neill
Theater in San José. This special show
pays tribute to classic romantic
songs in Spanish, drawing
inspiration from Latin American
legends. It all starts at 7 p.m.

Tortugas Rock Band is turning
up the volume at Jazz Café Pub in Escazú, San José, with a concert packed

Theater

Classics Return"
a musical comedy where a crew of

Center
in San José. There’ll be live music,

It’s
all happening at the Cabo
Blanco Community Fair in Canton Central Park, Puntarenas
Province. Expect live music,
dancing, sports, parades, food
trucks, and plenty of fun for the
kids at the playground. The
festivities kick off at 9 a.m.,
and the whole thing’s free. The
National Competition of
Municipal Bands is taking
over the Fidel Gamboa
Amphitheater at the
Ministry of Education in San José.
More than ten bands from across
the country will hit the stage,
showing off their best moves and
music. The show starts at 1 p.m.,
and it’s totally free.
On Sunday
The Oxen Parade is rolling
down Mora Street in the Río
Nuevo District, Perez Zeledon in San José.
Organized by the municipality and
the local cultural committee, the
event will showcase over 20 ox-cart
owners and 50 horseback riders, plus
kids’ games, live music, traditional
food, dancing, and concerts. The
parade kicks off at 10 a.m., and
it’s free for everyone to enjoy. The perfect day to swing by the
Zapote Community Fair at the Canton Sport Center in San José. Expect live music,
dancing, shows, parades, sports
games, food trucks, and a playground
packed with fun for the kids. It all
kicks off at 1 p.m., and it’s 100%
free.
This weekend
The Guácimo Community Fair is lighting up Canton Central Park in Limón. Get ready for live music, dancing, shows, parades, sports games, food trucks, concerts, and a playground packed with fun for the kids. The action starts at noon, and it’s all free.
"Crazy
Lucky" at the Máscara Theater in San José. The comedy follows
the hilarious chaos that unfolds when a
group of friends gets together. Showtimes are Friday and
Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 6 p.m.

The Torres Theater in San José is
featuring the comedy play "Orgasms." The show takes a
funny and honest look at the
complexities of modern relationships. Showtimes: on Friday and

for audiences 15 years old and older.
The Moliere Theater in San José shows the comedy play "Papichulo" (Handsome Daddy). The story follows a thief who ends up in all kinds of crazy trouble while trying to rob a house full of women.
