Costa Rican Dance Company teams up with

Center. Watch the
country’s top drivers push their limits
in an adrenaline-packed showdown. Racing
kicks off at 10 a.m., and tickets are up
for grabs at the box office.
Calling all anime and art lovers. The Anime Art Expo hits Antigua Aduana Events Center in San José with the country’s top illustrators, painters, and art vendors all under one roof. Doors open at noon and admission’s free.
This weekend
The
Ride Cultura Festival, backed by the
Ministry of Culture, brings energy to
the cantons of Oreamuno, Guadalupe,
Paraiso, Tierra Blanca, and Llano Grande
in Cartago Province. The event offers
live music, dance, sports, art, film
screenings, literacy workshops, and
more, all free and open to everyone.

The Ministry of
Culture and the Municipality of Limón
are bringing the city to life with a
full-on Limón
Carnival celebration.
Expect parades, Caribbean eats, live
music, family games, sports, and a
closing concert every night. The fun
kicks off daily at noon at Limon City Central
Park, and it’s free
for everyone.
The
Fuentes-Gasca Circus just rolled into
the Buenos Aires
Fairland in Puntarenas.
It’s a full-on show packed with energy,
laughter, and jaw-dropping stunts. We’re
talking high-flying trapeze acts,
crazy-good jugglers, live music,
dancers, clowns that’ll have you
cracking up, and a whole lot of magic.
Shows run every day at 3 p.m., 5 p.m.,
and 7:30 p.m. Grab your tickets right at
the box office.
The Heredia Community Cultural Fair is taking over in San Rafael Canton Central Park in Heredia. The fair includes live music, dancing, sports, a horse parade, tasty food trucks, bullfights, and even a playground for the kids. It all kicks off at noon. It’s totally free.

The Expressivo Theater in San José is putting on "1984," a powerful stage adaptation of George Orwell’s classic novel. It’s a sharp, modern take on life in a world full of surveillance and twisted truths. Showtimes are 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 6 p.m. on Sunday. featuring the comedy play "Orgasms." The show takes a
funny and honest look at the

The Moliere Theater in San José shows the comedy play "Papichulo" (Handsome Daddy). The story follows a thief who ends up in all kinds of crazy trouble while trying to rob a house full of women. Showtimes: Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the theater box office.
Get ready for laughs at the Triciclo Theater in San José with "Suegras Bárbaras" (Crazy Mothers-in-Law).
