                                  Voices at the Eugene O’Neill
                                  Theater in San José.
                                Inspired by a classic night on Broadway,
                                this musical dives into the stories of
                                theater singers and the voices that
                                refuse to stay silent. Curtain goes up
                                at 8 p.m., and you can grab your tickets
                                at the box office or through the TicketBox
                                  website. 
 
 The Mask Festival kicks off at 5 p.m. at the UNED campus in Cartago province, bringing together over 25 visual artists, folk music, and dance. The coolest part?  The Melico Salazar Theater in San José comes alive with the National Children’s Folklore Festival. Young dance groups from across Costa Rica will hit the stage with traditional music and dances that celebrate the country’s roots. It’s colorful, heartwarming, and perfect for the whole family.                                 ready,  Oktoberfest is back this
                                weekend at the Pedregal Events
                                  Center in Heredia. Inspired by the
                                world-famous Munich party, this fest is
                                bringing the flavor (and the foam) right
                                here to Costa Rica. Think 150+ types of
                                beer, German eats straight from the food
                                trucks, live music, cultural shows, and
                                plenty of lederhosen vibes. Doors open at noon, and
                                you can grab your tickets at the venue
                                or on the Tickz website. 
 
 Classic rock band
                              Mustang65 hits the stage
                                for the grand finale of Oktoberfest at the Pedregal Events
                                        Center
                                in Heredia.  They’ll be serving up
                                their best covers to close out the fest
                                in style. No extra ticket
                                needed, the concert’s included with
                                your Oktoberfest pass.   
 
 The Expressivo Theater in San José is putting on "1984," a powerful stage adaptation of George Orwell’s classic novel. It’s a sharp, modern take on life in a world full of surveillance and twisted truths. Showtimes are 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 6 p.m. on Sunday.  The
                                  National Arts Festival is pulling up in
                                the cantons of Talamanca, Matina, and
                                Siquirres, in Limón Province. Expect live music,
                                theater, concerts, food trucks, games
                                for the kids, and plenty more to keep
                                the energy going all weekend. Best part? It’s all free and open

                                  Community Cultural Fair is lighting up the Tronadora
                                  Community in Tilarán canton
                                in Guanacaste. The event includes
                                music, dancing, sports, and a big horse
                                parade. Hungry? Hit up the food
                                trucks and local vendors. Feeling bold? Catch the bullfights. And don’t worry about the
                                kiddos, there’s a playground just
                                for them. Gates open bright and
                                early at 9 a.m., and entry is free. 
 
 "Crazy
                                  Lucky" at the Máscara Theater in San José. The comedy follows
                                the hilarious chaos that unfolds when a
                                group of friends gets together. Showtimes are Friday and
                                Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 6 p.m.

 The Torres Theater in San José is
                                featuring the comedy play "Orgasms."  The show takes a
                                funny and honest look at the
                                complexities of modern relationships. Showtimes: on Friday and
