American Airlines, one of the U.S. top airlines, increased flights from Florida to Costa Rica.
The airline offers seven nonstop daily flights to Miami, Florida, as well as San José and Guanacaste in Costa Rica.
"American has been offering flights in Costa Rica for 35 years, and we are delighted to increase our operations just in time for the winter holidays," said José Mara Giraldo, Chief Operating Officer of American Airlines. "Our seasonal flying to SJO and LIR is coming back even stronger with more frequencies, offering customers a robust connectivity to travel to Costa Rica."
Four daily flights were launched between the Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) in Alajuela Province and the Miami International Airport (MIA) in Florida.
Furthermore, three nonstop daily flights were established between Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR), often known as Liberia Airport due to its location in Guanacaste Province, and Miami International Airport in Florida (MIA).
Additional information about the new flight schedules can be found on the airline's website.
American Airlines is a major U.S.-based airline headquartered in Texas. The airlines operate an extensive international and domestic network with almost 6,800 flights per day to nearly 350 destinations in 48 countries.
American Airlines is one of many international airlines increasing their flight frequency to Costa Rica. Last week, the Netherlands-headquartered airline, KLM, launched more flights between Amsterdam and Costa Rica.
