Last week, the government released new guidelines for Orange Alert zones. The new rules split into two phases, Closing Phase and Opening Phase, are set to take effect this month.

Closing Phase begins Monday, Aug. 10 and ends Friday, Aug. 21. Immediately after for the remainder of the month, the Opening Phase will apply, except on August 31. The last day of the month is not included in the new measures announced by the government.

During Closing Phase, government orders for the complete total closure of all public businesses and institutions in the cantons classified as Orange Alert zones.

Rules change for Opening Phase. During this phase, all public institutions and private businesses may continue their operations, following the established schedule and the ban on driving regulation.
