transactions
with public institutions By the A.M. Costa Rica staff The government announced Wednesday the new Pura Vida Digital website, where anyone can request information and carry out procedures with public institutions for free. This is an easily accessible platform to the digital services of public institutions, where the costs of the transactions, as well as the times and costs incurred by citizens, will be reduced to do their paperwork, said the government. The site was created by the Ministry of Technology with the support of the Inter-American Development Bank, said Luis Adrián Salazar, minister of Science and Technology. In the Pura Vida Digital site, the user can access information or carry out procedures related to help against violence, health, citizen documentation, business management, insurance and pensions. The information is provided by public institutions such as the National Women's Institute, the National Children's Board, Social Security, the Migration Directorate, the Supreme Electoral Tribunal, the Ministry of Economy, the National Learning Institute, SMEs, the Ministry of Science, Technology and Telecommunications and the Ministry of Labor. The user can perform among other procedures: - Get informed and ask for help in cases of family violence. - Report aggression against minors. - Request medical appointments with Social Security. - Request appointments to obtain a passport. - Consult of the marital status of any person before the Supreme Electoral Court. - Obtain digital certifications also issued by the Supreme Electoral Tribunal. - Register a company as small or medium enterprise. - Obtain information and manage insurance and pensions with Social Security. According to the ministry, the site is in its first phase, so specialists will be evaluating the use of the web page, verifying where there are more visitors and determine the most requested services. In addition, the page also has a section where the user can request services to be added to the site. Based on users request, more options could be added to search for information or paperwork. The Pura Vida Digital website is available only in Spanish.
