National Emergency Commission has
received more than 100 donations

The National Emergency Commission has obtained donations from 138 organizations, including different countries, during the pandemic.

According to the Commission, of these 138 donors, 66 provided services or products donated to public institutions and 72 were directly delivered to them.

Thanks to donations valued at approximately $467,802, associations and foundations have helped more than 11,260 people, the Commission said in its statement.

Food and hygiene products, as well as personal protective equipment, volunteer and transport services, technological devices, communication campaigns, among others, were part of the donations.

"The aid of the private companies during these months has been fundamental for our humanitarian assistance work, through good use of resources and transparency in the administration of donations," Alexander SolĂ­s Delgado, president of the Commission  said.

Also, the commission received the donations collected with the campaigns, "Telethon For Culture" raised $52,627 and "With You We Can" raised $1,211,274.
