The national football team wins the Central American Latin Bowl

The national football team won the first place trophy at the second edition of the Latin Bowl that took place over the weekend in Nicaragua.
According to the Costa Rica Football League, the final score in as game against team Nicaragua was 29-22.
In the first quarter, the Nicaraguan team took the advantage, 6–3, but in the second quarter, the national team managed to increase its point total to 21.
In the third quarter, the Nicaraguan team came back and managed to gain a one-point advantage, 22-21.
In the last quarter with just three minutes left to play, the Costa Rican National Team quarterback, Elías Zamora, managed to pass to bring the score to 27-21, then he orchestrated a two-point conversion to win the game with 29 points to become the Central American championship team.
Nicaragua took second place in the tournament.
"In 11 years of practicing this sport we had never had such a united team, and this is the result of this triumph," said the Costa Rican Football League in its statement. "We have given the opportunity to even two minor players who project to future, also; athletes from Liberia and Turrialba which are two new teams in the country were taken into account. ”
The Costa Rican Football league invited American-style football fans to support and enjoy the National Championship of Professional Teams that will begin in March.
Also, in June, the National league confirmed there will be a friendly game between the national team and Team America from the U.S.
A.M. Costa Rica will be published the dates of games of 2020 championship as it sets by the Costa Rican Football league.
