Resistance' electronic music festival in
Costa Rica
By the A.M. Costa Rica staff The Tech Resistance Music Festival will include Costa Rica in its world tour. It will perform on October 11th at the Costa Rica Conversions Center* in Heredia. According to the organizers, this is a 24-hour continuous festival of electronic music to showcase the best DJs worldwide. "The DJ lineup that will play here will be the same as the one that has exceeded the expectations of the most demanding stages in the electronic music," said Nicolás Bolaños representative of the Festival in Costa Rica. "We will have a mix of established artists and emerging DJs that are the world's next big stars.” Among the DJs who will be at the festival are Adam Beyer, Charlotte de Witte, and Guy J among others. The festival has been presented in Asia, Europe, North America, and South America. The tickets are on the official website San Jose Resistance Music here.* Prices are between $85 to $100. The event is exclusive for those over 18-years-of-age. The list of international singers to perform concerts in Costa Rica continues to grow. Readers who love top 40 hits, should prepare a budget. More international bands and singers will perform in the country, as A.M. Costa Rica previously reported. On October 4th, the Foo Fighters from Seattle, Washington will perform at the National Stadium*, in San José. ![]() The band was founded by Dave Grohl. The group got its name from the UFOs and various aerial phenomena that were reported by Allied aircraft pilots in World War II, which were known collectively as "foo fighters". Los Angeles band Weezer will open for the band here in Costa Rica. Ticket prices are between $60 and $120, depending on your choice of seats. On Tuesday, October 8th, the iconic Canadian singer-songwriter Bryan Adams will perform at Parque Viva* in Alajuela. ![]() The 59-year-old Adams is coming to Costa Rica with his new, Shine a Light album, which he released in March of this year. Already having covered Canada, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, the tour continues through the U. S. and Latin America. Tickets cost between $45 to $150 depending on your choice of seats. They can be purchased at the theater office or online at Boleteria.cr here. * In November, as part of the Lost in Love Experience tour, Air Supply and Starship will perform a live concert in the country on Tuesday the 5th at the Pedregal Auditorium* in Heredia. ![]() Air Supply will perform all their great hits such as "Lost In Love", "Love and Other Bruises" and "All Out Of Love". This will be a truly sumptuous presentation from one of Australia's most successful musical exports, said the concert organizers. Air Supply visits Costa Rica for the fifth time. Jack Johnson will perform on Sunday, November 10th also at Parque Viva*. ![]() U.S singer-songwriter Johnson is a multi-instrumentalist, actor, record producer, documentary filmmaker, and former professional surfer.
