the countryside

Costa Rica staff Thanksgiving is one of the most important dates on the calendar for expats from the U.S. Thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday of October in Canada and on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States. In Costa Rica, you can choose to cook a delicious traditional dinner all day or enjoy a dinner outside with your social bubble. If you want to have a nice dinner outside the home, here is a list of options to choose today from, in the city, the beach or the countryside. At the beach. Los Sueños Marina Resort invites you to celebrate Thanksgiving at the marina located in Herradura Beach in the Province of Puntarenas. In two restaurants, Laterna and Dolce Vita, traditional Thanksgiving dinner is offered for $29.50 per person. For reservations, call the resort at 2630-4040 Tambor Tropical Beach Resort will host a Thanksgiving dinner and concert with singer Mario Solano. The dinner is $25 per person and starts at 5 p.m. at the resort on Tambor Beach in Nicoya Peninsula. For reservations, call 2683-0011. Coconutz & Angry Goats Brewery restaurant in Hermosa Beach in Guanacaste. Thanksgiving dinner starts at 3 p.m. The price of the dinner is $25 pp. For reservations call 6079-6523 Fuego Brew restaurant at Dominical Beach in Puntarenas also offers either lunch or dinner today at $26 pp. For reservations, call 8373-0635. In the countryside Gingerbread restaurant, located in Arenal in Guanacaste, offers dinners from 6 p.m. For reservations, call 2694 0039. Marriott Hotel in Belen, Heredia, offers traditional American-style dinners from 6 p.m. The price is $35 per adult. Children from 6 to 12 years receive a 50% discount, and for children 5 years old or younger, dinner is free. For reservations, call 2298-0168. A great option for families with kids is Denny's restaurant, located in Alajuela, 1 kilometer east of Juan Santamaría International Airport. The Thanksgiving fast-food menu for kids includes Pumpkin pecan pancake meal, holiday turkey meal sandwich, turkey and dressing dish. Reservations are not required. For any questions, call 2431-5050. In the city The same option for kids could be Denny’s in La Uruca District next to Irazu Hotel or in Curridabat Canton in the Pinares Shop Center, both in San José. InterContinental hotel, located right in front of Multiplaza Mall in Escazú Canton. The dinner buffet is from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. for $55. For reservations, call 2208-2100 Residence Inn by Marriott, also in Escazú District. Dinners are served from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The price is $28 for adults and $12 for children's menu. You can opt for the $35 All-You-Can-Drink. For reservations call 2588-4500. Holiday Inn Aurola in San José downtown. Thanksgiving buffet-style lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for $15.
