New tickets for Backstreet Boys
concertBy the A.M. Costa Rica staff The highly expected concert tonight at Parque Viva amphitheater in Alajuela features the international band Backstreet Boys as part of the DNA World Tour. The original group members' singers AJ McLean, Howie Dorough, Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson, and Brian Littrell arrived in the country on their private plane. “We give our fans 100%, night after night, putting on the best Backstreet Boys show we can. We play our hits, we dance our asses off and we do it because we love our fans,” said McLean. “We have the best fans in the world. They come out to party, and they sing at the top of their lungs, and we feed off that energy. " According to the organizers, 500 tickets were enabled at the request of the fans, in the first presentation of the band in the country. The 16,000 fans who will see the band will enjoy a two-hour show. The band's music can be seen on its official YouTube channel. According to the organizers, the world tour has been a success, motivating the band to open new concert dates. Feb. 10, the ban announced that "following the success of last summer’s sold-out North American tour, the boys are proud to announce a second North American tour, kicking off July 10th in New York." Tickets are priced between $42 to $210, depending on the choice of seats. Karol G, comes to the country as part of the promotion of her album “Tusa,” the same name as the song she sings with Nicki Minaj. The music of Karol G can be seen on YouTube. Also, the festival will present the fifth edition with 15 local singers and 12 international performers, such as Tropical Minds, Zion and Lennox, Bacilos, among others, in the 24-hour continuous musical show. The singers also will perform at Parque Viva amphitheater in Alajuela as part of their Rockpack Festival tour. "Original leader singers of great bands of the 70s and 80s, like Quiet Riot, Toto, Santana and Boston will perform the hits with their original singers," said the Hit-After-Hit firm in charge of the festival organization. "It will be almost two hours of singing hit after hit." According to the organizers, fans of classic rock will enjoy the greatest hits as “Cum on Feel the Noize,” “Hold the Line,” “Hold On” and “More Than A Feeling,” among many more. Ticket prices vary between $34 to $100, depending on the location to the stage. The concert starts at 6 p.m., but the doors to the amphitheater will be open three hours before. Another highly expected international classic rock band that will be performing in Costa Rica is KISS. ![]() The musicians are Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer, and concert tickets are on sale for the only performance that the iconic KISS band will give in Costa Rica. That will be April 28, at National Stadium. The band will offer VIP meet-and-greet experiences, for which tickets can be purchased through the site Kissonline.com. The other ticket options will be available at Eticketcr site.
