On Sunday afternoon, agents from the Judicial Investigation Organization requested the public help to find a United States citizen man surnamed Andre Pravetz, 30. According to the agents' report, the man was last seen on Saturday, July 31, near to Uvita Beach in Osa Canton, Puntarenas Province. However, on Sunday night, police officers from the Belen Canton delegation in Heredia Province had found Pravetz walking in the street. The city of Belen is approximately 215 kilometers away from where the man was seen on Uvita Beach. Officers confirmed on Monday morning that Pravetz was found and he was in good health condition. The U.S Citizen was found by one police officer of the Belen delegation. The officer called Pravetz 'relatives and sent them a photo to verify that he was the same person reported missing. In the police station, they provide Pravetz food and a blanket to protect himself from the cold. “The U.S. citizen is already at home with his family," the agents said in their brief statement on the case. However, the agents will continue with the investigation to find out the circumstances in which the man disappeared in Uvita and less than 24 hours was found more than 200 kilometers away roaming the street in Belen. ------------------------ What have you heard about missing expat unsolved cases in Costa Rica?
