India-headquartered technology company ValueLabs announced that they will hire 100 people in Costa Rica.
The firm, specializing in software product engineering, data technology, design and consulting, opens job vacancies for their facilities in Plaza Real Cariari, San Josť Province.
"The near-shore center in Costa Rica supports ValueLabs' growth as part of our LATAM strategy, from an accessibility and cultural alignment standpoint," Sarat Vattia, firm Regional Head said. "The vibrant tech community and the availability of talent in the San Josť area have made it the perfect location for our new development center."
The company is looking for associates who have strong experience in IT and software development across different technologies and skills. Those interested in applying for a position with the company may visit the firm's Careers site or email their resume to email@example.com.
Over the last 24 years, the company has expanded to 31 locations, with more than 6,000 associates and 200 clients worldwide.
ValueLabs is one of many international firms opening jobs in Costa Rica. Recently, Ohio-based Procter & Gamble, P&G, offered 380 jobs to reinforce its Shared Services Center, located in Santa Ana.
Although these companies are offering several jobs, Costa Rica remains with a 17.4% unemployment rate, according to the National Employment Survey. The survey reveals that there are approximately more than 423,000 people without registered jobs in the country from May to July 2021.
