“This expansion was possible thanks to our growth in the countries where we serve our clients and the success we have had in Costa Rica, where we have found the ideal conditions for our continued growth," Cristina Jiménez, General Manager of SmileDirectClub Costa Rica said. "Costa Rican talent has the necessary technical skills to continually improve our product, while simultaneously having the soft skills that equip our team with the talent and effectiveness needed to continue developing Smile culture."
In these unprecedented times, the company continues to rely on the capabilities of Costa Rica’s national talent, and on its formation of a Global Business Service Center in the areas of Finance, Technology and Procurement. According to Jorge Sequeira Picado, Managing Director of the Costa Rican Investment Promotion Agency, CINDE, 82% of new jobs generated by Free Trade Zone Regime (RZF) companies correspond to those already established in the country.
SmileDirectClub will hire professionals in the areas of financial analysis, customer service, information technology, marketing, human resources, dentistry, and orthodontics.
Professionals are required to have an advanced-intermediate or B2+ level of English. The company will offer permanent remote-working positions, which is why they are looking for talent outside the GAM to fill these positions.
