By the A.M. Costa Rica staff The Tropical Agronomic Research Center announced the contest for $162,000 non-reimbursable funds to entrepreneurs. According to the research center, among the applicants, nine entrepreneurs will be chosen who will receive $10,000 each, plus six additional participants who will receive $12,000. In addition to the grants, the winners will also receive training and support from specialists to develop the companies. The contest is focused on helping entrepreneurs located in rural areas working in environmental, social or economic projects which contribute to decarbonization. The application deadline is June 15. Entrepreneurs interested in the grants contest can find more information on the Center website, under the Active Program section.
