ell, the two most popular U.S. lotteries
Mega Millions® and Powerball® jackpots combined keep on climbing as they reached $624 million for this weekend’s drawings.



A lucky winner would have the choice of taking home the Mega Millions $453 million jackpot or an annuity of $208 million in cash on the first game to be held tonight Friday, Nov. 22, 2024.



Mega Millions tickets are available on the lottery website for those living in the U.S.


 

Those living abroad, from any nationality, can play Mega Millions or any of the other international lotteries on The Lotter website.



No one won the top prize on Tuesday, Nov. 19 drawing with the white balls 5, 35, 50, 51 and 59, plus the Mega ball was 8 and the Megaplier 4X.



Drawing will be conducted as usual at the WSB-TV studio in Atlanta, Georgia, at 11 p.m. ET. Soon afterward, the draw video will be available on
the Mega Millions website.


Mega Millions tickets cost about $2 per play. Players may pick six numbers from two separate pools of numbers - five different numbers from 1 to 70 (the white balls) and one number from 1 to 25 (the gold Mega Ball) - or select Easy Pick/Quick Pick.
 

Players win the jackpot by matching all six winning numbers in a drawing. Also, there are a total of nine ways to win a prize in this lottery, ranging from the jackpot down to $2.


Mega Millions jackpot winner will have the choice of a Cash Option or an Annual Payout. Annuity option: Provides for an initial annual payment followed by 29 annual payments









The second big game of the weekend is Powerball. The jackpot jumps to $171 million or an estimated cash value of $79 million in cash, for the next drawing, which will take place on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024. 



The Powerball tickets are available on its website for those living in the U.S.



Those living abroad, from any nationality, can play Powerball or any of the other international lotteries on The Lotter website.



The jackpot rolled on Wednesday, Nov 20, after no ticket matched all six numbers drawn with the white balls 16, 30, 60, 62 and 64, plus the red Powerball 25 and the Power Play multiplier 3X.



Powerball drawings are broadcast live at 11 p.m. ET from the State of Florida Lottery draw studio in Tallahassee. Drawings are also available on Powerball.com.



The jackpot grows until it is won. Players win a prize by matching one of the 9 ways to win. The jackpot is won by matching all five white balls in any order and the red Powerball.


Powerball costs about $2 per play. To play, people should select five numbers between 1 and 69 for the white balls, then select one number between 1 and 26 for the red Powerball. People can choose the numbers on a play slip or let the lottery terminal randomly pick the numbers.


Jackpot winners may choose to receive their prize as an annuity, paid in 30 graduated payments over 29 years, or a lump-sum payment. Both advertised prize options are before federal and jurisdictional taxes.
