Almost all cities worldwide have canceled their annual parades and halted any in-person activities for today's holiday. However, that hasn't stopped them from coming up with new ways to honor the green-filled day.

Saint Patrick’s Day Parade 2021 is now streaming live globally from Ireland on the St. Patrick's Festival official site, a dedicated online TV channel to promote Ireland culture, from 11 a.m to 9 p.m.  Ireland Time. Or seen from 7 a.m to 5 p.m U.S. Eastern Time or from 5 a.m to 3 p.m Costa Rican Time.

“While we cannot gather on the streets of Ireland this year to celebrate our national day, we are delighted to bring the 2021 national St. Patrick’s Festival to life online, presenting our global family with the unique opportunity to take a front-row seat at all of this year’s events,” the organizers said in a statement. “The festival theme is Dúisigh Éire! Awaken Ireland! It is a clarion call to all our people across the world to throw off the long, dark months and rise to embrace the brighter days ahead.”

The Festival started early today from Ireland for the world to enjoy from the comfort and safety of their living room.



From a message with the First Citizen ‘A St. Patrick’s Day Message from President of Ireland Michael D. Higgins’ at 10:52 a.m. GMT to virtual tours, pageantry, marching bands, spectacle, fun, traditional sessions, storytelling and dancing.

They’ll make a very special visit to entertain the residents at Elm Hall Nursing Home in Kildare at 12:15 p.m. GMT and a feast for the ears and eyes with the Saint Patrick Show from Downpatrick at 3:00 p.m. GMT.

Brendan Balfe and Dave Fanning offer the Treasury of Irish Voices at 5:00 p.m. GMT and Pillow Queens, Gemma Dunleavy and Adam Mohamed lift the roof of the Guinness Storehouse at 6:30 p.m. GMT

From Whelan’s at 8:00 p.m. GMT for Barróg Lá Fhéile Phádraig, which gathers the best of Irish traditional players and singers.

At 8:55 p.m. GMT join for the premier of  “Solas: Awakening Ireland,” a magnificent short film which illuminates Ireland’s most beautiful rural landscapes and urban vistas in a spectacular lighting display, followed by a 9:00 p.m. GMT concert with pop princess Soulé recorded at The Complex, Dublin.

The farewell to St. Patrick’s Day 2021 by Orchestra of Light, at 9:30 p.m. GTM, a surprising spectacle over the skies of Dublin.

People across Ireland and the globe will have the chance to share their home-parade with the world, using the hashtag #RTÉVirtualParade on their preferred social media.

The St. Patrick’s Festival 2021 is made possible with the support of the Ireland Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, Fáilte Ireland, Dublin City Council among other organizations.
