A medical services campaign will take place at the National Stadium located in Sabana District, in San José Province.
According to Social Security, clinic staff will provide a wide variety of medical services such as dentistry, skin exams, Pap smear exams, vision exams, AIDS screening exams, gynecology, colposcopy, geriatrics, ultrasounds, densitometry, physiotherapy and optometry among others.
The campaign began this week and is scheduled to continue until Thursday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. The staff's goal is to provide care to a minimum of 2,000 patients living in the central south and central north areas of San José.
However, residents of these zones, including foreign residents with DIMEX cards, can obtain additional information about the medical campaign by visiting the National Stadium information front desk.
This is one of many mass medical services campaigns launched by public institutions this year. Recently, a medical services campaign was held at the San Rafael District public clinic located in Puntarenas Province, where the staff attended about 1,200 patients.
To provide non-emergency medical care and shorten wait times for appointments, Social Security has developed many widespread initiatives. These efforts seek to finish all non-emergency medical services that were put off between 2020 and 2022 when the epidemic was at its worst, authorities said.
