Check your tickets because one lucky player is waking up a multi-millionaire after winning Friday night’s $112 million
Mega Millions® jackpot.

According to the Mega Millions Consortium, a single ticket sold in Ohio matched all six numbers drawn on April 18 — the white balls 5, 13, 15, 17, and 28, plus the gold Mega Ball 1. The ticketholder can choose between the full $112 million annuity or a lump sum cash option of $49.3 million.

The jackpot for the tonight drawing on Friday, April 25,  is estimated at $60 million, with a cash option of $26 million.

Mega Millions tickets are available for purchase by U.S. residents on the official www.MegaMillions.com lottery website.

International players can also participate in Mega Millions and other global lotteries through The Lotter website that allows individuals from various nationalities to play.

“Moments like this are exactly why we reimagined the game,” said Joshua Johnston, lead director of the Mega Millions Consortium. “This jackpot win — and the millions of dollars going to non-jackpot winners every drawing — is the result of years of planning, collaboration, and listening to what players want. We’re proud of what this game is already delivering for our players and beneficiaries and are looking forward to the future big wins to come.”

During this most recent seven-drawing jackpot run, more than two million winning tickets were sold across all prize tiers. That includes five second-tier prizes worth multiple millions. Two of those tickets were sold under the previous game matrix with the Megaplier option: a $5 million winner in Texas and a $2 million winner in Pennsylvania. The remaining three were sold under the new matrix, which includes a built-in multiplier: $4 million and $2 million winners in New York, and a $3 million winner in Michigan.

In the April 18 drawing alone, there were 229,771 winning tickets nationwide across all prize levels, in addition to the jackpot-winning ticket. Thirteen tickets matched four white balls plus the Mega Ball, earning third-tier prizes. Of those, six had the 2X multiplier for a $20,000 prize, five had the 3X for $30,000, one had 4X for $40,000, and one had 5X for $50,000.

Drawing will be conducted as usual at the WSB-TV studio in Atlanta, Georgia, at 11 p.m. ET. Soon afterward, the draw video will be available on the Mega Millions website.

Mega Millions tickets cost about $5 per play. Players may pick six numbers from two separate pools of numbers - five different numbers from 1 to 70 (the white balls) and one number from 1 to 25 (the gold Mega Ball) - or select Easy Pick/Quick Pick.

Players win the jackpot by matching all six winning numbers in a drawing. Also, there are a total of nine ways to win a prize in this lottery, ranging from the jackpot down to $5.

Mega Millions jackpot winner will have the choice of a Cash Option or an Annual Payout. Annuity option: Provides for an initial annual payment followed by 29 annual payments.

The big jackpot this weekend is Powerball® scheduled for Saturday, April 26, with a jackpot of $151 million, or a cash option of $69 million.

Powerball tickets are also available to U.S. residents via the official lottery website www.PowerBall.com.

While international participants can play through The Lotter website.

This prize has also increased after no one matched all six numbers in the April 23 drawing. The winning numbers were 15, 44, 63, 66 and 69, with the Red Powerball 20 and a 2X Power Play multiplier.

Powerball drawings are broadcast live at 11 p.m. ET from the State of Florida Lottery draw studio in Tallahassee. Drawings are also available on Powerball.com.

The jackpot grows until it is won. Players win a prize by matching one of the 9 ways to win. The jackpot is won by matching all five white balls in any order and the red Powerball.

Powerball costs about $2 per play. To play, people should select five numbers between 1 and 69 for the white balls, then select one number between 1 and 26 for the red Powerball. People can choose the numbers on a play slip or let the lottery terminal randomly pick the numbers.

Jackpot winners may choose to receive their prize as an annuity, paid in 30 graduated payments over 29 years, or a lump-sum payment. Both advertised prize options are before federal and jurisdictional taxes.
