New
six-tower condominiums will be built
in the
Sagrada Familia District, in San
José Province, to house more than 190
impoverished families. According
to the Ministry of Housing,
construction for the housing project
began next year and is expected to be
completed in December 2025. Some of
the benefiting families were squatters
who unlawfully occupied unused land in
nearby areas where the condominium
will be built.
The
whole housing project consists
of six four-story towers. Each
is built in concrete for a total
of 192 apartments with two or
three bedrooms. Some of the
apartments are disability and
elderly-friendly. In
addition, the condominium
includes parking lots,
sidewalks, a playground and even
a security officer booth.
