Costa Rica's soccer team to play in Croatia

The Costa Rica Men's Soccer team continues their European tour with a 3-1 victory over the Saudi Arabia Soccer team on Friday.

According to the Soccer Football Federation, the Tico team will meet the United Arab Emirates Soccer team in the International Association Football Federation's (FIFA) second and final friendly game.

The match will take place at Ivan Laljak-Ivi Stadium in Zaprei, Croatia, on Tuesday, Sept. 12 at 9 a.m. Costa Rica time.

Authorities did not announce the cost of tickets to watch the game live at the stadium.  

Fans of Team Costa Rica can catch the game live on the Costa Rican channels 6 and 7. The game will be aired on Fox Sports and ESPN in the United States. 

Live updates for the game will be published on the Costa Rica Soccer Football Federation's website.


In July, the Costa Rica team was eliminated from the 2023 Gold Cup after losing 2-0 against Mexico.
