A.M. Costa Rica staff The
Costa Rica Plan for the Recovery of
Indigenous Territories has made significant
progress nationwide, with eight territories
returned to their Indigenous community's
legal owners.
According
to the Rural Development Institute, two of
these lands were
located in Rey
Curré Indigenous Territory,
three in Cabagra
Indigenous Territory, and
in Ngabe
Indigenous Territory, all
in Puntarenas Province.
Another land was located in Maleku Indigenous Territory, in Alajuela Province and the seventh property is located in the Zapatón Indigenous Territory in San José Province.
