The new prices
will be as follows:
The super brand
gasoline increased from ₡718 to ₡720
colones per liter. The new rate is
around $1.38.
Plus 91 gasoline (known
as regular) increased
from ₡686 to ₡688
colones per liter. It costs
approximately $1.32.
Diesel decreased from ₡619 to ₡597
colones per liter. The revised price is
around $1.14.
Liquefied
petroleum gas (LPG), for use in heating
appliances, cooking and vehicles, decreased from ₡7,571
colones to ₡7,503 colones per 25-pound
gas cylinder, about $14.42.
The new prices
become effective on Sunday, September 1,
after being published in the official
government bulletin La Gaceta.
