The
Accessible Tourism Network, which promotes
universal accessibility in tourism
activities for people with physical
disabilities, has launched a clothing line
for them.
The
apparel campaign "Breaking Barriers" is
introducing
adaptable t-shirts to let persons with
impairments tour the nation. "They mix
elegance and usefulness, are constructed of
natural textiles, and have unique patterns
and motifs," said the organization's
statement.
"Each
t-shirt represents power, talent, and
perseverance," said Jairo. "I am really
grateful for the opportunity to share my
creativity with the world."
Jairo's
design collection will be launched at Costa
Rica Fashion Week, which will take place
from August 23 to 24 at the
Antigua Aduana Events Center in
San José.
People
interested in purchasing unique clothing for
the disabled may
find more on the
Accessible Tourism Network website.
