The 15th cold front of the season is expected to move across Costa Rica this week, bringing strong winds, according to the Weather Institute.
A
cold front typically marks the boundary
between a cooler air mass and a warmer
one, often leading to sharp temperature
drops, strong winds, and thunderstorms as
it moves through the region.

Severe
wind gusts between 30 and 40 mph are
predicted, particularly in high-altitude
areas such as the Volcanic Mountain Range
in central Costa Rica.
